We offer lovely self-catering apartments with sea or gardens views at the prestigious Ocean Club in Praia da Luz (often referred to as 'Luz Bay') - a self-contained holiday centre set in a picturesque, old Algarvian fishing village close to the bustling, historic sea port of Lagos.

• The Ocean Club consists of well-appointed, tastefully furnished apartments under an experienced and professional British management. There is a 24 hour reception where information and assistance can be obtained, together with a twice weekly maid service provided at no extra charge.
  
  
• The apartments have attractive garden or sea views towards the Bay of Luz. The apartments at ground level have patios or gardens, and, at higher levels, balconies with fine sea views.
  
  
• The beach, which gives Praia da Luz its name (the exact English translation of Praia da Luz is "Beach of Light"), is long with fine, pale sand. It is ideal for safe, relaxed bathing.
  
  
• The climate is gloriously sunny for most of the time throughout the year with the hotter temperatures of the summer mitigated by the cooling flow of a gentle breeze.
  
  
• Amenities Luz Bay offers a number of good, reasonably prices restaurants, bars, night-clubs and local shops including two supermarkets. The Ocean Club itself has a number of snack bars and an excellent, modestly priced restaurant, which can also cater for clients who prefer the option of half or full board. Situated just five minutes away is Lagos, probably the most authentically attractive, unspoilt town in the Algarve, an intimate place where pavement cafés, bars and restaurants are delightful spots for leisurely eating.

Airport Transfers
Clients booking a car with us should proceed through the Arrivals Hall at Faro Airport and present a car-hire voucher to the car-hire company. Clients who have booked a taxi transfer should also proceed to the Arrivals Hall where a driver will be holding up a sign with the relevant name. Upon arrival at Praia da Luz, check-in should be at the Ocean Club reception where keys, general information and club membership cards will be handed out.

Sports Facilities
Five championship tennis courts at the Ocean Club, (two with floodlighting available) with a further four courts nearby if required. In addition to water sports such as scuba diving, windsurfing and sailing, there are, nearby, squash courts, crazy golf and table tennis. It is also a good area for pony-trekking and hill-walking. The Ocean Club has four excellent swimming pools, three outdoor and one indoor heated pool. There is a pro-shop which offers tennis accessories, racquet and ball-hire and a prompt racquet re-stringing service. Sauna, massage and gymnasium are available nearby.

Golf
Golf enthusiasts can play at any of the six beautiful courses a short drive away: Floresta, Palmarès, Boa Vista, Penina, Alto Golf and Salgados. Our clients will be able to claim discounts at Floresta, Palmarès, Alto Golf, and Salgados, where the prices are quite reasonable in any event, as well as the magnificent Championship course at Penina.
